TIDY TOWNS AGM
Gorey Tidy Towns will hold its Annual General Meeting at 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23rd, at Market House, Gorey Main Street. All are welcome so if you want to know more about the many different ways you can help your town why not come along? Representatives from Resident Associations are particularly welcome as this will offer the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences which can be very useful.
NAOMH ÉANNA COACHES NEEDED
Naomh Éanna are looking for coaches and selectors for all grades of Ladies’ Football from U10 up to U18 for the coming 2007 season. If you are interested please contact Laura on 086-3059268 or David on 086-6441214. Once coaches and selectors are set up for each team, training will begin at the end of January or in early February. All new players are welcome.
GOREY NIGHT CLASSES
There is still time to enrol for night classes at Gorey Community School. The Adult Education Department will take enrolments until classes begin on Monday, January 22nd. Classes in public relations, safe driving, and managing community organisations are among the 50 classes starting this term. Other new night classes on offer include 3D CAD using Pro Desktop, a book club, life coaching, basic car knowledge, and an innovative course teaching parents how to communicate with toddlers before they can talk. GOREY ATHLETICS CLUB
Congratulations to Gorey Athletics Club’s under-12 team who stormed home with gold medals from the Wexford Cross Country, and County Relay Finals held in Clongeen last Sunday. Orla Furney, Ciara Roche, Kate O’DonnellSheridan and Amy Levingstone now progress to the Leinster finals representing Wexford in Carlow this Saturday. Further congratulations go to Kate O’DonnellSheridan who took home an All-Ireland bronze medal with the Leinster squad from the national finals in Athlone just before Christmas. Training takes place this Sunday, January 21st, at 12.30 p.m. at Roy Furney’s field in Ballycanew. All new members are welcomed and encouraged to go.

GOREY BEEKEEPERS
Gorey Beekeepers are holding a beginners’ course in the Teagasc Office, Fort Road, Gorey, starting on Tuesday, January 30th at 8 p.m.. For further information on this five week course, contact Brian (053-9428443) after 7 p.m.
WEXFORD WATER SAFETY CLASSES
