SPECIAL OLYMPIC TABLE QUIZ
Table quiz in McGovern’s Pub on Wednesday, March 14th, at 9 p.m. in aid of the Special Olympics Club Gorey Area (SOCGA). All are welcome.
MILE SWIM
Courtown Lifeboat crew and committee would like to congratulate all of the advance swimmers of Forest Park Leisure Centre who successfully completed their mile swim in aid of Courtown Lifeboat. Gorey Beekeepers are holding their monthly meeting on Thursday, March 15th, at 8 p.m. in the Teagasc office on the Fort Road in Gorey. The guest speaker will be Patsy Bennett. For any further information contact Ger Williams on 9421823.
HEARTSAFE THANKS
The Gorey Heartsafe Group would like to thank the people of the town who so generously contributed to the coffee morning fundraiser last Tuesday. The next meeting will be held next Monday, March 12th, at the Loch gCarman Arms at 8 p.m. All interested volunteers please attend.

LORETO PRIMARY SCHOOL RAFFLE AND 70S/80S NIGHT
To announce the result of the Loreto Primary School’s car raffle, and to thank everyone for all their support to date, the school is holding a 70s/80s night on March 16th at 9 p.m. in the Amber Springs Hotel. Tickets at €10 (to cover the cost) are available from the school, Susie Clince (087-2204810) or Grace Germaine (0863907026) In the meantime, tickets to win the car are also available from the school at €10 each, or six for €50. The winner can opt for €10,000 in cash instead.
CARRAIG TEABHRA ROCK BRANCH CCÉ
The March monthly Ceoltas session of music, song, and dance held by the Carraig Teabhra (Rock Branch) CCÉ in the Rock Hall will be held on Tuesday 13th March at 9 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Of course you won’t go home without a cup of tea and currant bread.
