An outdoor photography weekend is being organised in Co. Wicklow this week by Extreme Ireland to help those with a keen interest in photography.

The weekend course will involve a full, intensive, but fun, weekend of landscape photography in the valleys, mountains and rivers of Co. Wicklow.

The programme will be based out of the village of Laragh and participants will go for walks each day followed by classes in a workshop in the evening time and will begin on 16 January.

Organiser Keith McDonnell said: “On Sunday morning, you will have a dawn shoot on the hill before returning for breakfast.

“The cost of the course includes accommodation, two lunches, one dinner on Saturday evening and all course material. There are two levels, beginner and mixed ability.

“It is a weekend to enjoy yourself outdoors, while learning at the same time and meeting people.”
