Frank Sinnott

I SEEN be the papers that author Frank Sinnott of blessed St. John’s Gate Street is about to, or already has gone, bald for charity.

This is a sensitive situation into which I am placed by fate.

I am not prepared to state anything in print, nor am I prepared to undermine the sacrifices of that sage and bard.

His good works and advice have tightened the gloom around the town wall no less than the places of worship and political administration institutions.

I will speak in general terms without impugning anyone’s integrity. It has become of critical importance since there are many volunteers today, boys as well as girls who offer to have their hair shaved publicly for charity.

It’s lovely, that’s what I say; but what about the publicityseeking entry who is as naturally bald as the day he came into the world and has concealed this normality by a cunningly disguised wig?
