Gorey Celtic
The Gorey Celtic Schoolboys AGM will be held on June 30 at the clubhouse at 7pm.
All are asked to attend.
Kyle Hill Walk
On Sunday, June 20 the Kyle Hill Walk will take place in memory of Mary Coogan and in aid of the local MS Branch.
Participants are asked to meet at 6pm at Jim Coogan’s Yard, Kyle, Ballinglen, Arklow and this will be followed by Mass at 7pm.
Everyone is welcome and light refreshments will be served afterwards.
Tea on the Lawn
The Tea on the Lawn will take place in the grounds of Gorey District Hospital on Sunday next, June 13 from 2pm to 4pm.
All are welcome to attend and support the Friends of Gorey District Hospital.
Badminton Club
Gorey Badminton Club are now running a Summer Club, every Wednesday from 8pm to 10pm in the Naomh Eanna GAA Club in Clonattin.
The cost for Adults will be €5 and Children (8+) will be €3 including rackets and shuttles All standards and players from other badminton clubs welcome.

Collection
The Annual Church Gate Collection in the Gorey Garda District takes place in all parishes on Saturday and Sunday next June 12 and 13.
Rehab provides training for people with special needs and the support of the public would be greatly appreciated.
Is there any person, school, organisation, club or company in your locality who would consider organising a small Fundraising Event for Rehab 1 Day. This is a new event to promote the services that Rehab provides for people with special needs in the South East.
Rehab 1 Day is on June 20, but an event can be organised at anytime in or around that date.

Table Quiz
A table quiz will take place in the Loch Garman Arms hotel in Gorey tomorrow, June 10 at 8p.m. A table of four will cost only €20 and a great night out is guaranteed.
Community Games
The Wexford Community Games Finals for athletics takes place in Bree on Sunday, June 13. Parade assembly will take place at 9.30am with competition starting at 11am.

Gorey Musical Society
The Gorey Musical Society will have a stall at the Car Boot Sale in Esmonde Street carpark on Saturday, June 12 and again on Saturday, June 19.
BBQ
Gorey Methodist Church will be holding a barbeque on Friday, June 25 from 6.30pm until 9pm at the farm of Mrs. Lily Warren in Morriscastle, Kilmuckridge.

Gorey Show
The annual Gorey Agricultural Show will take place on June 19 in its new home in Clonattin, Gorey and the closing date for entry to the various categories is tomorrow, June 3.
This year’s show will have all the usual show classes for horses, sheep and cattle. The Arts and Crafts and Indoor Competitions will take place on the day.

Gorey Rangers Schoolboys Soccer
The Academy training for the tiny tots section has finished now until the new season resumes.
A medal presentation night will take place in the Naomh Eanna Complex, Clonattin on Saturday, June 12 from 7.30pm and all members are welcome.
The AGM will be held on June 17 at 8pm again in the Loch Garman Arms and all are welcome to attend.
Registration and a family fun day will be held on June 19 from 10.30am in the Showgrounds at Fort Road which will include a BBQ, bouncy castle and junior soccer blitz.
Meals on Wheels
The Gorey Community Social Services Council is seeking additional volunteer drivers for their Meals-onWheels service on Thursdays.
All deliveries are on a voluntary basis with people using their own cars.
The service is helping support the elderly in our community and is assisting in people retaining their independence and the ability to stay living in our community.
Can you afford approximately an hour a fortnight from twelve noon to one o’clock on a Thursday?

St Aidan’s Lotto
St. Aidan’s Services have just launched a new Lotto with a jackpot of €2,000.
Tickets cost €2 each and are available from various shops and businesses around Gorey.
The first draw will be made on Friday, May 28 in the Amber Springs.
Tag Rugby
Why not keep fit over the summer as Gorey RFC’s Summer Tag continues at their grounds in Clonattin each Wednesday night at 7.30pm.

Volunteer Help Needed
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) Shop in Courtown is looking for volunteers to help it raise funds for the vital emergency services offered by Irish Lifeboats for over seventy five years off the north Wexford coast.
The local group has saved lives using their inshore D-class lifeboat.
The shop located on the north pier at the Boathouse needs volunteers to help keep it open during the summer months and weekends during the winter time.
Can you afford to give a couple of hours a week to support this great organisation?

Riverchapel Youth Club now has almost 80 members between the ages of 8 and 12 years of age and the club are now looking for helpers and leaders to maintain the number of children involved.
The club would like to hear from siblings, parents or guardians, over the age of 18, of the children involved in the club and are willing to give some time to the club.
